Its Keeneland time!

As you get older, you tend to miss that feeling of when you were younger and waking up Christmas morning with a ton of presents under the tree, fortunately the excitement of going to Keeneland provides that very same feeling. Going there provides an old school racing experience with alot of the newer, more tech savvy perks.

Gondorf drew into the 3rd race on Saturday in a 9 furlong polytrack race. We have always wanted to try him on the polytrack as he has always trained well over it but we never had the opportunity this summer. While this race has drawn the interest from the whose who of horseman, we are confident that he will run a big race.

The two horses as Philadelphia Park responded in their 2nd starts over the track. Prospect Knight made his two turn debut and ran 4th. While tiring, his performance was promising. With Tony Black retiring, he will get a jock change and race back near the end of October.

Rochelle Rochelle finished 3rd as she was much fitter this time around. She stumbled very bad out of the gate and ran a very good race. She should be tough next time, which will also be at the end of October.

The Magic Bus had his recent work aborted as the standing water on the track caused him to be tentative in his pre-gallop. He will work back this Friday and continue onwards to his debut, which will be at Churchill Downs on Halloween.

Big Shake continues to not like the dirt in the morning and is ready to run. He will be run at Keeneland next Saturday.

Mizz Liza has trained well with the addition of blinkers. Her last race was extremely puzzling and we are hoping that the blinkers will help her focus and give her some confidence. She is scheduled for next Friday at Keeneland.

Surfer Rosa's plans have changed as we have moved up her scheduled turn out time as she has gotten sick. The plan was to run her at Keeneland this weekend and go two turns at Churchill but she has had a long year and we have decided to do it now and she will come back when the crew leaves for Florida, which should be around December 1st.

We are extremely excited to go out to Arundel Farm on Sunday to see both IL bred babies (Dehere and Johar Fillies) and the two pregnant mares, Top Royelle and Wundelia. Pictures will obviously be taken and posted!

Here is hoping for a fun, exciting, competitive, and profitable weekend.
