Surfer Rosa wins!

When someone asks me what being in the horse racing industry is like, I tell them that there is nothing comparable, that the range of emotion is so wide. The Arlington meet has been rough, but today helped make up for it with Surfer Rosa's amazing close to break her maiden.

This is the first win picture for the Arlington meet and it couldn't be any sweeter. Surfer galloped out extremely strong and 5 furlongs will be far from her best distance. Chuck will now keep an eye on her and see how she comes out of the race before we point towards her next start.

Mizz Liza came out of her race great and we will jump her in class and try an MSW on the lawn August 15th.

Gondorf had a minor foot issue and we gave him a little time. His foot is somewhat back to normal and he will target a MSW on the lawn August 27th.

Prospect Knight is getting closer to his debut and we changed tactics on The Magic Bus. Instead of targeting a 5/8's race where they tend to be run in bias fashion, we have decided to point to the 7 furlong race on August 22nd.

Rochelle Rochelle is back to training and looks great. Big Shake continues to progress and is working tomorrow.
